Our Mission

Our Mission and Purpose
Suncoast Communities Blood Bank provides a reliable supply of quality blood products and services to hospitals and health centers in need. Our singular purpose is to collect, test, process, match, store and distribute all the blood products required to serve the hospitals and health centers in our community.

As a not-for-profit, independent community blood bank, Suncoast Communities Blood Bank distinguishes itself through outstanding customer service which is demonstrated through personalized and sincere interactions with every donor and guest and confirms our deep appreciation and respect for all who attempt to donate.

Suncoast Communities Blood Bank is a registered 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit corporation supported by hundreds of individuals, corporations and foundations. All gifts to SCBB are fully tax-deductible as outlined by the IRS. Our Federal Tax ID number is 59-0873275.
