VOLUNTEER

SCBB’s teams of G2 Student Recruiters were active at the following Sarasota County high schools during the 09-10 school year:

Booker, Cardinal Mooney, DeSoto, North Port, Pine View, Riverview, Sarasota, Sarasota Military, Venice

G2 student recruiters contributed more than 70 volunteer hours in addition to their 18 blood donations.
Five of the seven G2 graduating seniors applied for and received scholarships from SCBB.
Over 3,000 high school students registered to donate at campus drives during the year.
High school students accounted for over 10% of our communities’ blood supply.
